It gets really humorous when one struggles at the controls, making the athlete swing or flail, and at times doing something like a back-flip. The game is quite tough to play, as it requires perfect coordination of one’s fingers. Due to improper funding, QWOP isn’t a really good runner, as seen from the intentionally bad controls. The player controls an athlete QWOP, who is the local sporting hero of a prosperous country in the Scandinavian Alps. There are also mobile versions which have been launched for Android and iOS platforms, which demand the use of thumbs instead of keys. QWOP is a flash game which was launched in November 2008. The Guinness World Record is held by Roshan Ramachandra, a resident of Karnataka, India, for doing the fastest 100 m run in QWOP, on April 10, 2013, completing it in just 51 seconds.
